Scope and responsibility
ARASS LLC is generally responsible for the personal information described in this policy when you interact directly with Molten Majesty. Our commerce platform, payment providers, carriers, marketplace partners, and other service providers may also process information under their own legal responsibilities and privacy notices.
This policy applies to the official Molten Majesty online boutique. A purchase or interaction on Etsy, Faire, Amazon, social media, or another third-party service is also governed by that service’s privacy practices.
Information we collect
The information collected depends on how you interact with us. It may include:
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and delivery address.
- Order and transaction details, such as products viewed or purchased, order value, currency, returns, delivery information, and limited payment status or transaction references.
- Account and preference details, such as login or account information, saved addresses, country, language, currency, wishlist or cart activity, and marketing choices.
- Communications, including messages, enquiries, reviews, survey responses, and information you choose to provide to Client Care.
- Device and usage details, such as IP address, browser and device type, identifiers, cookie information, approximate location, referral source, pages viewed, searches, clicks, and interaction with the website.
- Fraud and security signals, such as account, transaction, device, or network indicators used to protect clients and the boutique.
We receive information directly from you, automatically through the website and related technologies, and from service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, carriers, fraud-prevention services, analytics providers, and marketplaces.
Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not required for your order or request. If it is necessary to share something unusual with Client Care, contact us first so we can suggest an appropriate channel.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- provide the website, accounts, checkout, payment, delivery, returns, and Client Care;
- confirm, prepare, fulfil, and maintain records of orders;
- authenticate users, prevent fraud, protect the website, and enforce our terms;
- understand performance, diagnose problems, improve navigation, and develop products and services;
- personalise relevant aspects of the experience where permitted;
- send service messages and, where you have chosen to receive them, marketing communications;
- comply with accounting, tax, customs, consumer-protection, legal, and regulatory obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect the rights, safety, and property of clients, Molten Majesty, and others.
Depending on your location and the activity involved, our legal basis may be performance of a contract, compliance with law, consent, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing that was already lawful.
Cookies and privacy preferences
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate checkout and accounts, remember preferences, measure website use, protect against fraud, and support marketing where permitted.
- Essential technologies are required for core functions such as security, cart, checkout, and network management.
- Preference technologies remember selections such as region, language, or currency.
- Analytics technologies help us understand performance and how visitors use the boutique.
- Marketing technologies help measure campaigns and, where permitted, tailor advertising.
Where a consent banner is displayed, you can use it to accept, decline, or revise non-essential categories. You can also adjust browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the boutique from working. Where legally required and technically recognised, we honour valid opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
Cookie and data-sharing controls vary by region. Look for “Cookie preferences” or “Your privacy choices” in the site footer or privacy banner when those controls are available to you.
Shopify, personalisation, and advertising
The boutique is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit or purchase from a Shopify-powered store and may provide services based on your interactions with Molten Majesty, other merchants, and Shopify, depending on the services enabled and your privacy choices.
Information may be shared with Shopify and other service providers located in other countries to provide commerce, security, analytics, personalisation, advertising, and related services. Review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy for details about Shopify’s processing, and use Shopify’s privacy controls for choices that apply directly to Shopify.
International processing and transfers
Molten Majesty operates across the United States and Türkiye and serves clients internationally. Personal information may therefore be processed in a country other than the one where you live. Our service providers, including Shopify, may also process information in multiple countries.
Data-protection laws can differ between countries. Where required, we and our providers use recognised transfer mechanisms or other safeguards intended to protect personal information during international processing.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, Client Care, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and other legal obligations. Retention periods vary by category, relationship, and applicable law.
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Full payment-card details are handled by payment providers. We may receive limited transaction information, such as payment status, provider references, card type, or the last digits needed for reconciliation and support.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights:
To make a request, email contact@moltenmajesty.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the right you wish to exercise and the account, order, or email address involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If an authorised agent submits a request, we may ask for evidence of the agent’s authority and may need to verify the request directly with you. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, including where we cannot verify identity or must retain information for a legal obligation.
Marketing and service communications
If you subscribe, we may send news about collections, atelier stories, invitations, and offers. You can unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. We may retain a minimal suppression record so we can respect the choice.
Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service communications about an order, account, security matter, legal notice, or request you have made.
Children, links, and third-party destinations
The boutique is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
The website may link to third-party sites, marketplaces, social platforms, embedded services, or review sources. Their privacy practices are separate from ours. Review their notices before providing personal information or using their services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, service providers, or our practices. The effective date and version at the top identify the current edition. Where a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it in the manner required by applicable law.
